Martin was Education Officer for Essex Wildlife Trust. He was based at a coastal nature reserve where he developed a unique programme of educational activity days for schools. He also created Wildlife Discovery Days for children and ran wildlife days for teachers and other adults.
After 15 years he decided it was time to move on and in 2003 he launched Martin Rapley - Experience Science Live!
Martin is a fellow of The Royal Entomological Society and a corporate supporter of Buglife the Invertebrate Conservation Trust
